A Mind in Civil War

Everyone gets lost from time to time. Figuring out how the pieces of you fit together is a struggle. We wonder, we question, we second-guess, we fear--it's all in the vibrant blood that runs through our fragile veins. Sometimes it feels like you have to swim across oceans, run through miles of treacherous fields, and climb mountains of never-ending altitude to reach conviction. And that is only half the battle.

I believe in free will, choices, and consequences. We are the directors of our lives and at every corner, we must choose whether we want to continue walking straight, take a step back, proceed left, or run right. In a sense, we are near-sighted because we cannot know for sure what the outcomes of our decisions will be. Sometimes we might even end up somewhere completely astray from that which we had initially predicted or so confidently envisioned.

How do you find the strength to endure the consequences? What needs to be done for you to make peace with the aftermath? Who will lift you up when you have fallen?

I think I've found an endless fountain of strength... faith that things will always work out, even if they don't seem to be what you planned. that's what it is. try it.
